Unity Sans is the font that sings the beauty of collaboration. It was made by 49 designers from around the world for rebuilding Ukraine. Nearly 1.5 million homes have been destroyed during the war in Ukraine. Thousands of Ukrainians lost their homes.
Hundreds of businesses have been destroyed. Despite the war the Ukrainian Government and President Zelensky started the international program We Build Ukraine to rebuild the country. Unity Sans was created as the main font of this program. It is practical, versatile and free. Anyone can use it
to restart their own business destroyed by the war and stand on its feet again. The font Unity Sans consists of basic letters and numerous alternates drawn by designers worldwide. In the workshop, we’d like to expand our alternate forms, so the font receives it’s update. The participants will be working with the given topic of #rebuilding and generating new #letterforms for Unity Sans.
